Butcher blocks fabricated from "planks" have been used extensively for centuries and over time worked their way in to the kitchen arena rather than finding it only at your local butcher shop.
As a kitchen designer, my motto of a space isn't complete without warmth and texture and the use of a butcher block is a perfect way to create that story.
